Verification

Know what a verification badge actually means.

A useful verification process explains what was checked, who can apply and what remains unknown. Here is how the existing PrimeSugar service describes its checks.

Identity and profile consistency

The existing service asks members to complete a live selfie check against their profile information. A new check may be required when information is inconsistent. Supported phone numbers and verification documents for applicants outside Taiwan need to be confirmed before you apply.

  • Follow the instructions within the member app.
  • Keep your age, photos and profile information accurate.
  • Send verification material only through the process the platform specifies.

Optional financial verification

The current service offers an additional financial check to male members who submit the requested supporting material. It is separate from Premium membership: purchasing a plan does not grant or improve a verification result.

A result reflects the material reviewed at a particular time. It does not guarantee future finances, intentions, personal conduct or a relationship outcome.

Private documents and public status

The existing verification guidance distinguishes review material from public profile information. Public profiles display verification status rather than submitted selfies or financial documents. Read the privacy summary for information about processing and storage.

A badge is one piece of information. Continue to make your own decisions about conversations, personal information and meeting plans.

When something needs a closer look

Keep the relevant in-app conversation and a clear description of the issue, then use reporting tools or contact support. The team may request further information and review the case under the existing terms. English support and a response time are not currently guaranteed.
